Quick Orange Cake
&
Orange Flavored Icing
Cake:
Begin with a box of white or vanilla cake mix. Prepare according to
directions but replace part of the liquid with the following:
2 ½ tsp. Orange flavoring
4 ½ tsp. Triple Sec
Then add:
2 ½ tsp. Orange Zest (fresh is best but can use dried)
Bake according to package directions.
Frosting:
Mix your regular buttercream leaving out your flavorings. Add the following
per each 2 lbs. of sugar:
2 tsp. butter flavor
3 tsp. Orange flavor
2 Tbl. Triple Sec.
If you want to fill between layers, add 2 tsp. Orange zest to the icing
for filling .
