Neapolitan cake
Create a “Neapolitan” cake by using 1 Chocolate,
1 strawberry and 1 white cake mix. This works best in a 12 x 18-cake
pan, as this pan will take 3 cake mixes. Prepare cake pan as usual with
shortening/flour or pan grease. Prepare each cake mix in a separate
bowl according to package directions.
Pour ½ of the white cake batter against one end of the pan to
take up approximately 1/3 of the space. Pour ½ of the chocolate
batter into the opposite end of the pan to take up 1/3. Then pour ½
of the strawberry batter right into the middle 1/3 of the pan. Repeat
the process with the 2nd ½ of the cake batters to fill the pan.
Bake approximately 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into
the cake comes out clean. Voila! You have a 3 flavored cake!
