- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 1/2 c. white KARO syrup
- 2/3 c. water
- 2-1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Pecans
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt
Mix sugar, syrup, water and salt. Cook to a soft-boil stage. Pour
½ mixture into egg whites. Beat until creamy. Cook the
other ½ of mixture into a hard-boil stage. Then mix this with
the creamy mixture and beat until it gets hard. Add vanilla and pecans.
