Supplies for Debbie's ANIMAL FIGURE MODELLING

Modelling paste: (2 level tsp Tylose kneaded into 450g (1lb) of sugarpaste)

  • 340g (12oz) dark jungle foliage green
  • 145g (5oz) palest grey
  • 145g (5oz) golden brown (Sugarflair Autumn Leaf)
  • 60g (2oz) black
  • 145g (5oz) white
  • 90g (3oz) dark brown
  • 90g (3oz) pale banana yellow
  • 30g (1oz) pale pink

  • 8in round cake board
  • Small plain bladed vegetable knife
  • Bright green powder food colouring
  • Small and medium sized rose calyx cutters
  • Rolling pin
  • Turntable
  • CMC (Tylose) glue - (1/4 tsp stirred into 2 tbsp warm water and then left overnight to dissolve)
  • Icing (powdered) sugar in a sugar shaker
  • No.3 or 4 sable paintbrush
  • Damp cloth for hands
  • PME no.2 or Wilton no.3 plain piping tip (for cutting eyes)
  • Stitching wheel or cocktail stick (toothpick)
