Supply Lists for Glenda’s Oct 24-26th Classes

 

SUPPLY LIST FOR HYDRANGEAS

  • Non Stick Board
  • Roller
  • Foam pad
  • Plastic flap (to cover cut out petals)
  • Cell stick or Ball tool
  • Covered wire (29 or 30 gauge. Enough to make 60 or 70 3-inch lengths)
  • Jem Hydrangea cutter
  • Small circular cutter (about an inch in diameter) that we will be bending into a different shape.
  • Some type of petal veiner (for texture)
  • Gum glue (Tylose or CMC mixed w/warm water)
  • Several shades of Blue petal dust
  • Needle nosed pliers
  • Small sharp scissors
  • Wire cutters or heavy duty nail clippers
  • Several assorted artist brushes (both round and flat)
  • Florist tape (white or green)

 

SUPPLY LIST FOR ROSES

  • Non-stick board (Cel Board if you have one)
  • Roller
  • Foam pad
  • Plastic flap (to cover cut out petals)
  • Cel Stick ( Medium or Ball tool)
  • Cel Stick ( Small or Ball tool)
  • Block of Styrofoam
  • Rose Petal Cutter (large)
  • Rose Leaf Cutter (three graduated sizes)
  • Rose Petal Veiner (silicone is best)
  • Rose Leaf Veiner (silicone is best)
  • Calyx Cutter
  • Gum glue (Tylose or CMC mixed w/warm water)
  • Silk White Luster Dust
  • Yellow Luster Dust
  • Pink Luster Dust
  • Moss Green Luster Dust
  • Several Artist’s brushes in assorted sizes (both round and flat)
  • Green covered wire ( 28 or 29 gauge for the leaves)

 

Glenda will provide gumpaste and rose cone bases with sticks. ( You will be taught how to make them, but for convenience, since they should be dry before use, they will be provided)

 

SUPPLY LIST FOR GERBERA DAISIES

  • Large, Medium, and Small PME brand Daisy Cutter/Plungers
  • Non- Stick Board
  • Roller
  • Foam Pad
  • Textured Veining Tool (Jem makes a good one)
  • Daisy Center mold (Medium)
  • Bright colored luster/petal dusts (your favorite colors)
  • Gum glue (Tylose or CMC mixed with warm water)
  • Brush to apply gum glue
  • Assortment of artist brushes
  • Small sharp scissors
  • Pallet knife(s)
  • Small container of shortening
  • One-inch round cutter or piping tube with that size base
  • Towel for cleaning your hands and area (one wet & one dry are helpful)
